Organic Freeze Dried Blueberry Powder

From organic blueberries harvested when ripe in Chile,  and then frozen ready for secondary processing. Freeze Drying is one of the best ways of drying these berries; because the anthocyanins and other polyphenols in the Blueberries are heat sensitive, by drying the fruit at low temperatures during the freeze drying process, there is only minimal loss in antioxidants and nutrition, making the freeze dried powder highly functional and ideal for nutraceutical and powder supplement applications, as well as any applications for which antioxidant are desirable. Freeze Dried Blueberry Powder is shelf stable and can be stored at ambient temperature.

Blueberry Premium Powder

This is a high quality 100% high bush blueberry powder, resulting in a 6 : 1 ratio powder packed full of antioxidants. The proprietary drying technology used to make this powder is specifically designed for maximum nutrient retention. The ORAC value of this powder is between 25,000 - 32,000 iμmiol ET/100 g, Ployphenols are 1,800 - 2,500 mg GAE/100g and Anthoxyanins are 890 - 1,020 mg cianidin-3-glucoside/100g. This powder is ideal for nutraceutical applications, health supplements and for encapsulation. The powder is free flowing and soluble in water.

Blueberry Reduced Sugar Powder

This is a high quality 100% high bush blueberry powder, with most of the sugars removed, resulting in a 9 : 1 ratio powder packed full of antioxidants. The proprietary drying technology used to make this powder is specifically designed for maximum nutrient retention. The ORAC value of this powder is between 35,000 - 38,000 μmol ET/100 g, Ployphenols are 2,800 - 3,200 mg GAE/100g and Anthoxyanins are 1,300 - 1,800 mg cianidin-3-glucoside/100g. This powder is ideal for nutraceutical applications, health supplements and for encapsulation where a reduced sugar content is desirable. The powder is free flowing and soluble in water.

Blueberry Juice Powder

This is a spray dried powder, and most suitable for beverage applications where solubility is important, or some food applications where heat is going to be applied. Organic options are available.

Whole Freeze Dried Blueberries

Whole Soft Dried Blueberries

Superfood Ingredient’s Whole Soft Dried Blueberries are sweet and chewy, these have been air dried with the addition of organic apple juice to help sweeten them and sunflower oil to keep them from going brittle once dried.
